Quotation Request – Fire Extinguisher Services
We kindly request a formal quotation from Tekad Cekal Enterprise for the supply and/or servicing of fire extinguishers in accordance with applicable Malaysian standards and fire safety regulations.
✅ Scope of Quotation
- Supply of new fire extinguishers (e.g., ABC Dry Powder, CO₂, Foam, etc.)
- Inspection and maintenance of existing fire extinguishers
- Refilling and pressure testing
- Replacement of expired or damaged units
- Issuance of Certificate of Compliance
- On-site servicing and scheduled maintenance
- Wall brackets, signage, or mounting hardware (if required)
✅ Compliance & Standards
- Be compliant with BOMBA (Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia) guidelines
- Meet SIRIM certification and conform to MS 1539
- Be accompanied by appropriate certification and service tags

Fire extinguisher placed at home or vehicle for personal use, certification or approval from BOMBA will not be necessary
Monthly and yearly personal checks are recommended by following the instructions provided from our website. However, it is advisable in every two years to send the fire extinguishers for service by a certified service contractor listed in our website to ensure it is in good condition.
Having it serviced regularly guarantees that the fire extinguisher in your home is in peak condition for its intended use when a fire breaks out. With proper servicing and maintenance carried out on a regular basis, fire extinguishers should last for up to 10 years before they need replacing.
If you discover any of the following during your fire extinguisher inspection you should consult a professional who will need to service and repair or replace the faulty extinguisher:
- The extinguisher is damaged, e.g. hose or nozzle is cracked, ripped or blocked.
- If the handle is wobbly or broken.
- The pressure gauge needle is outside of the green zone and this means the extinguisher will need servicing immediately
- Locking pin is missing or anti-tamper seal is broken.
- Appropriate labeling and operating instructions are missing.
Yes. A fire extinguisher can be refilled after being pressure tested.
With proper servicing and maintenance carried out on a regular basis, fire extinguishers should last for up between 10 years before they need replacing.
Fire extinguishers placed in commercial property would be regulated by BOMBA, and that the Approval Certificate would be required. Moreover, in accordance to the Uniform Building By-Laws 1984, portable fire extinguishers shall be provided in accordance with the relevant codes of practice and shall be sited in prominent positions on exit routes to be visible from all directions and similar extinguishers in a building shall be of the same method of operation.
Fire extinguisher placed at home or automobile for personal use, certification or approval from BOMBA will not be necessary. However, it is still highly recommended that you purchase your fire extinguishers from reputable manufacturers recognised by BOMBA so that quality of the product is assured.
As the operating temperature for a dry powder fire extinguisher is from -20˚C to 60˚C , this would not be an issue at all.
All our products come with a twelve (12) months warranty, effective from the date of delivery excluding the following:-
- The product is damaged due to fair wear and tear, corrosion, rusting and/or stains;
- The product is damaged during installation and/or when maintenance works are inconsistently being carried out and not in line with the applicable manuals as provided by our Company as the manufacturer of the product;
- The product is damaged caused by improper usage, any modification, works of repair, tamper or alter, all without the authorization of our Company as the manufacturer of the product; and
- Any damages or failures due to unforeseen circumstances, accidents or Act of Goods.
